Rick Como says Shenango Lake is overflowing this year with
channel catfish, white bass and hybrid stripers. Looking at his pic-
tures of recent catches—who can argue with that!

Although many angler say they don’t like the flavor of white bass, Rick says it’s all in
how you clean them. He eliminates all belly meat and any dark flesh. The resulting
white back fillet is as good as walleye according to Rick.
