A particularly hot, dry summer has made for tougher than
usual late summer fishing on area reservoirs. But keep the
faith! The forecast has temperatures moderating. Now if we
can only get some of that left over tropical moisture traveling
north our way to replenish area streams, rivers and lakes –
but not too much at once! In the meantime, the hottest area
bites (according to our contributed reports) for the Labor Day
weekend appear to be perch and walleye on Lake Erie; white
bass and channel catfish on Shenango Lake, and panfish/bass
at Conneaut Lake. Now GO FISH!
