fishing.
I rig the bait on a quarter-ounce BPS Shroom Head jig.
Working the bait is an exercise in simplicity, just slow and
steady. Move it just fast enough to keep it from hanging
up, making occasional bottom contact. When fish hit this
bait they tend to engulf it, even in 40 degree water.
I prefer fishing swimbaits on a casting rod, more specifical-

model. My low-profile reel is loaded with Gamma Edge 10
or 12-pound test fluorocarbon line. It's a great combo for not only soft swimbaits, but suspend-
ing jerkbaits too, another top late fall option.
