This NW PA Fishing Report is out just in time for the long Thanksgiving weekend. The
weather is bit of a mixed bag over the holiday, but very fishable. And with inland lakes just
dropping below the 50 degree mark this past week, the wall-
eye, smallmouth bass and musky bite should be on. The Alle-
gheny smallmouth bite has been inconsistent all fall, but hope-
fully will kick on with cold water prior to freeze-up. Of course
the walleye guys will be the last to leave the river. Given all the
rain of late on inland waters, it is hard to believe how low the
steelhead streams are right now. While the stream steelhead
bite is tough, the lakeshore bite is awesome…when the big wa-
ter is calm. Go fish!
