Old time anglers called August the dog days of summer, and
offered many excuses why they could not catch fish. Some were
true; many were not. As you can see in this Report, anglers who
apply the right techniques in the right location are still catching
fish. Yes, there is a slow down on lakes, but other lakes are peak-
